How a Giant Retailer Wants to Help You Sell Your Products… At No Cost to You

The truth is that it’s not hard to do well on the web. It’s just a matter of working hard doing the right things.
One of those “right things” is finding easy ways to get your website seen by Google. Big companies spend hundreds of thousands of dollars every year optimizing their websites for the search engines. Since most of us don’t have that luxury, we’ve got to find other ways to get our web pages ranked in Google without doing anything illegal or against Google’s terms of service.
Nobody wants to get slapped by Google because your top ranking can be taken away in a matter of seconds if you try to fool Google with tricky, but illicit strategies.
Well, Amazon wants to help you sell your products… as long as they get a cut of the action.
Before I explain how it works, take a look at this image:

Note that the #3 listing for the search term is an Amazon item, and Amazon is also paying for advertising space to sell those same products — products Amazon doesn’t own.
And, take a look at this E-book created by Perry Belcher. He’s ranked right up there at #6 on Google for a highly competitive search phrase (“How to start a business from home”). This search phrase gets over 600 searches per day, and with a #6 ranking, he’ll get a lot of those hits. The point is that Perry didn’t have to do a lot of the usual work to move his book to the top. That’s accomplished because Amazon already has all the clout with Google.

How to Leverage Amazon’s Clout for Your Stuff
It’s all above board, perfectly legal, and very, VERY sneaky. Here’s how it works, and how you can legally get Amazon to promote your online business…
1 Sell an Item on Amazon
You can sell pretty much anything on Amazon. If you scroll to the bottom of an Amazon page, you’ll see these links:

You can sell a product or self-publish an information product on Amazon. If you managed to look at Amazon’s CreateSpace program while you were on the page you would have noticed that you can “Self-Publish” a book, a CD, or DVDs.
Amazon will “Print on Demand” your book for you. All you have to do is to load the digital file (Word document) and Amazon does the rest. They’ll pay you as much as a 70% royalty, which is FAR better than what you’d get with any traditional publisher, or even a Print on Demand publisher for that matter.
You can also write a short E-book (as Perry did in the example above) and sell it only as a Kindle edition. The process is straight forward, and there are numerous YouTube videos that show you how (look for “How to publish on Kindle”). You’ll go to Amazon’s Kindle Publishing Platform to get started.
Perry uses his E-book on Amazon as a “Lead Generation Device” (explained in detail in the Internet Marketing for Rookies Program). That is, he makes a little money on the book, but mainly focuses on using the book to move people towards buying his higher-priced items.
In any case, you’ll want a product you can list on Amazon (Information Products are best).
2 Optimize Your Listing
Remember: Google works with keyword phrases. So, instead of naming your E-book, book, CD, DVD or other item something clever, such as “Never Fear the Cat”, use your primary keyword phrase as the title — “How to Eliminate Cat Urine Smell”.
Then, literally stuff your “Description” with as many keyword variations as possible (it still has to make sense, though). Begin your description with your primary keyword phrase. Then, use Google’s “Related Searches” link or other keyword tool to find related keyword phrases, and add those to the description. Use all 4,000 words of the description.

3 Get Links to Your Listing
Google loves “back links” — hyperlinks on another website that point back to your web page.
You’ll find the URL for your Amazon product, and then use a variety of methods I discuss in the program to get other websites to point directly to your product page.
It also helps to get some social networking activity, such as social bookmarks, to your product listing. There’s a slick and easy way I do that that I describe in the program.
It doesn’t take a lot of back links or social bookmarks to move your listing to the top of Google. The reason for this is simple:
Amazon.com has enormous clout with Google, and you’re simply riding on Amazon’s coattails by selling your product.
It Gets Better
If Amazon feels that your product or product category is making them a lot of money, then they’ll advertise FOR YOU through Google. Amazon will actually pay for the advertisement, and you reap the benefits.
See… you do all the work of creating the product. They make about 30% or more on every sale. It’s a perfect win-win situation.
… And, Better …
In the Internet Marketing for Rookies Program, I’ll give you many more tips like this. More importantly, I lead you with a gentle hand through the Internet landscape, showing you what works, what doesn’t, and how to go from zero to profit without any previous knowledge of the Internet or programming.
I’ll even give you everything you need to create your own website from scratch — without a programmer, and without spending a dime on web design. I’ll show you how to create a page like this, as well as the “Squeeze Page” that got you here.
I hope you enjoyed this special “Insider’s Tip”. Please sign up for the Internet Marketing for Rookies Program today.
