“The Money is in the List”

Whether you’re a big business or just starting out, the real money comes from “your list.” This is your list of avid fans and customers who follow you on Facebook, read your newsletter, watch your videos, or think that you and your products are simply the best.

The methods and approaches for lead generation have changed over the past couple of years, and it’s getting harder to maintain a good list. In this video, you’ll see several examples of winning “Squeeze Pages” – the most important page on your website, as well as examples of squeeze pages that don’t do what they’re supposed to do.

And, here’s something that’s usually not mentioned by internet marketing experts when they talk about using squeeze pages to get people onto your list:

What you offer in exchange for their contact information is at least 70% of the game. I was working with a client recently who wanted to improve their “Landing Page” as they called it. What they offered in exchange for the person’s contact information was “A free consultation.”

When I hear “free consultation” my defenses immediately go on standby. What I expect to get is a sales pitch that’s lightly disguised as a consultation. Online, you want to give people good, solid information without having to worry about talking to a sales person.

And, the more relevant your offer is to their specific need, problem, or desire, the better chance you’ll have of getting them to “opt in” to your list.

If you enjoyed this video, then I know you’ll get tremendous value from the Internet Marketing for Rookies Program. I hope to see you inside as a member of the team soon!
